It is a divine, beautiful town full of nature, temples, ashrams, and saints. The place is mesmerized and blessed by the sacred river the Ganges. Rishikesh has a pleasant climate for many months of the year which attracted many yogis to do their Yoga sadhana. Rishikesh is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Weather In Rishikesh And Recommended Clothing

December-January-February winter session and the coldest time of the year but no snowfall. the temperature gets down to 15-26 C, We do not have a heating facility but room heather can be arranged with additional charges. It is recommended to bring warm clothes during this time.
May to August – summer & rainy session. light cotton clothes are recommended, as the temperature can get even to 40 degrees. September is the end of the monsoon. Umbrellas/raincoats are recommended.
October to April – This time of year weather in Rishikesh varies from pleasant to cold and woolen clothes, jackets, etc. are recommended. The temperature is average around 32-33 C.
